No Page Refreshes When Attacking or Raiding & Improved DM
The page no longer refreshes when attacking, raiding or alliance raiding users through their user page. Direct Messages have also been improved to allow characters that were not allowed in the past.

Notifications added!
We have added notifications to the game so you can stay up to date when someone is out to attack you, when your buildings are upgraded, your troops are trained, or someone has messaged you. You can easily enable notifications from the sidebar on as many devices as you wish.

Guess who's back!
We are back, once again! Our main aim is to update the game to make it more reactive, and minimize the page reloads the current implementation of the game requires when performing actions such as upgrading buildings, attacking users, and vice versa. We have recently implemented the first of these: upgrading buildings in the Hane building. Happy tapping jannisaries!

Final Changes Before Release!
We are adding our final touches before moving out of BETA. Here are the changes we've implemented.:
- Fez Price Calculation Changed: Fez price is no longer calculated based on coins. It now uses the power to be calculated.
- Taps Changed: Until now, taps have only been valuable for users in the start of the game. This is no longer the case! Taps reset hourly, and are capped at 100 per hour. Their value is determined on a variety of factors including the time passed since the game started, the fez price, and more.
- Late Start Bonus Added: Users that start late will be gifted bonus taps according to how late they started as a small compensation. 100 extra taps will be provided for every day passed since the game started. The bonus taps will reset with the hourly tap reset.
- Game Sped Up: The game is now 2-4 times faster in loading pages compared to before!
- New Buildings Unlocked: The Defensive Headquarters is finally unlocked with a buildable wall. The wall protects you for some time, and can be rebuilt once the protection is over. The Tactics Facility is also unlocked, and allows you to upgrade your troops' attack and defense to perform better in battles!
- Instant Messages Introduced: Messages now send instantly, without requiring the page to refresh! If you have new messages from the other user while you are in a conversation page, they will also be updated on your page instantly. Some other functions in the game are now also possible without a page-refresh.
- Minor Improvements & Tweaks:
- Ottoman Notary now lists alliances, and allows you to perform actions with them
- Ottoman Notary shows users according to your relationship with them based on their alliance

- Game #5 History Fixed: Previously, Game #5 had duplicate records in the archives. This has now been fixed.

You Spotted Issues, We Fixed Them!
There were various issues with the game, and you all pointed them out. Here are the fixes and improvements:
- Purchasing Troops Improvement: Now you can train exact number of troops with the number field on top of the slider. Thank you matchakietkat for suggesting this!
- IGN Issue Fixed: Previously, the game wouldn't allow you to pick the same in-game-name as your own username. This has now been fixed. Thank you d1amond for pointing this out!
- Profile List Friends Links Fixed: Previously, the links directing to your friends' user pages was not working. This has now been fixed.
- Login via Menu Improved: Previously, the login via the menu when logged out would occasionally require logging in multiple times. Now, you can hit "Log In" and you'll be directed to your Hane as soon as your credentials are confirmed.
- Attack Times Tweaked: Attacks now take 1 hour minimum (and 6 hours maximum depending on how many troops you send) to get to the person's base.
- Raiding Power Fixed: Previously, raids would give power regardless of whether they were successful or not. This has now been fixed.
- Major Game Improvement: Our previous method of checking for completions would sometimes show completed, then require another refresh to process the completion. Now, any completions will first be processed, then the page will be loaded.
- Spying on Kilo Of Fruits Ready To Collect Fixed: Previously, you couldn't spy on someone's kilo of fruits ready to collect even if you had the Intelligence Center built. This has now been fixed.

Game Reset With Many Improvements!
The game is reset - this is the last game that will be played in Beta. A huge thank you to all the people who have played Ottoman Tap BETA until now. All your support means so much! Enjoy Game #5! Oh, and here are the latest updates:
- Profile Pictures Introduced: You can now have your own profile picture! Go to your "Profile" in order to select a profile picture of your choice.
- All Pages Migrated To Bootstrap 5: Pages for non-logged in users are now also migrated from Bootstrap v3.3 to 5.1.
- Homepage Redesigned, Updated: We figured the homepage was getting a little outdated. We have made a new one, and separated the Changelog into another page. The new homepage features top users and players in the current game, and allows signing in directly from the menu.
- Alliance Improvement: If the founder of the alliance leaves the alliance, new founder is selected automatically according to role.
- Raiding Change: Raiding no longer kills all units
- Instant Notification Improvement: instant notifications don't refresh page when you mark them as read or unread.
- Building Popups Added: Building Info Popups, colour sorted according to your levels as well
- City Info Popups Added: Cities now have popups with information.
- Public Spot Info Popups Added: Public spots now have popups with information.
- Tap Limit Fixed: Taps were limited to 499 times instead of 500. We fixed this. Thank you Steel12 for reporting this!
- Music Added: We added music to the game! Buildings and cities now have music. We hope you like our selection.
- Alliance Improvement: The game does not allow attacking or raiding people in your alliance anymore.
- Alliance Improvement: You can now see your allies' troops via their user page, or directly via the Alliance Building.
- Battles Introduced, Unit Counters Added: You will now be able to battle other users in the game by attacking them from your Military Headquarters. In battles, infantry are good vs. cavalry, cavalry are good vs. siege and siege are good vs. infantry. Each unit gets a 25% attack bonus against the unit it counters.
- Conquering Added: Conquering is now made possible! Any successful attacks on unconquered people will be counted as conquers!
- Liberation Added: Liberation is possible via Profile.
- Conquers List Added: Conquers list is accessible via Profile.
- ReCaptcha Added: We added a reCaptcha in order to stop a future potential user registration flood!
- Alliance Building Improvement: User Roles in the Alliance are now visible via the Alliance Building on the "Change Alliance Roles" page as well.
- New Building Levels: Building levels added for Alliance Building, and Military Headquarters. You can now raid and attack more!
- Army Breakdown Improved: Tables are added to the game (accessible via military Headquarters, and military training buildings etc.) and allow better listing of your troops.
- In-Game Names Introduced: You can now play without revealing your identity to other users. You can optionally choose a different name when you start the game, and can reveal yourself once at any time during the game via your Profile. If you choose, you can continue to make your username the same as your in-game-name (IGN).
- In-Game Players Distinguished: Now only users that are playing will be visible during the game (via Ottoman Notary, Leaderboards, Public Bulletin Board, etc.). Signing onto your account for a specific game is sufficient to add yourself to it.
- Ottoman Notary Updated: You can now see all users in the Ottoman Notary! The search result user boxes are also redesigned!
- Fez Marketplace Updated: Some powerups were removed since buildings replaced the Fez limitation increases.
- Leaderboards Updated: Leaderboards now show top alliances too, and are updated to show power and coins.
- Error Messages Improved: Improved error messages when signing in or making an account and integrated them to display in the page.
- Tutorial Updated: Tutorial updated and is now available via the Menu -> "Game Guide."
- Quick Tutorial Added: A Quick Tutorial Popup is added to the game for new users.
- Explorations Buffed: Now explorations give a bit more coins!
- User Pages Errors Fixed: Some user pages had errors caused by new additions. We fixed this issue now.

Alliances Improved, Game Extended By A Week, Errors Fixed & More
We're back with updates! We were hoping to finish adding conquering and battle simulators as well, but we couldn't make it in time. We figured we might extend the game by a week and allow users some more time to join alliances before the game resets. We hope to get conquering/battles and battle simulator complete by then. Here are the latest updates:
- Errors Fixed: The Public Bulletin-Board page had a 500 Error after our latest update. We fixed this, and many more errors.
- Power Added: Power is added to the game. You are granted 1 power for every 100 acres of land, 1 additional power if the land is invested, 1 power per 100 infantry, 2 power per 100 cavalry, and 3 power per 100 siege.
- Fez Reward System Changed: Rewards will now be given to the top 3 Alliances at the end of the game. The Fez will be distributed evenly among all users of the alliance. Top 25 users will still recieve some Fez, but it will be much less than the Alliance Fez reward.
- Alliance Raiding Added: You can now set a raid to go off at a specified time from your Alliance Building. Other alliance members will be able to add squads to your building until the time scheduled for the raid to go off.
- Alliance Chat Added: You can now chat directly with your alliance members in the Alliance Building.
- Alliance Roles Added: There are now various roles in alliances that have different privileges.
- Raiding Improved: Raiding is no longer a win-all-or-lose-all. You will only lose part of your army you sent raiding if your raid was unsuccessful.
- Alliance Invitations & Requests Implemented: You can now invite people to join your alliances, or request to join an alliance.
- Alliance Options Added: You can now easily change the alliance name, tag, or joinability from the Alliance Building. Alliance leaders are also be able to kick players or change their roles from the Alliance Building.
- Alliance-Related Notifications Added: We added notifications related to the alliance.
- Instant Notifications: Whenever you have notifications, it now pops up right away to inform you. If you mark as read, they are not added to your Watch Tower. If you do not mark as read, they are added to your watch tower where you can mark them as read later.
- Improved Profile Page: Profile Page is now improved with quick access items, power breakdown, and the ability to see yourself through the lens of others.

Changes & Improvements
We've been working on a lot of improvements and new features over the past three weeks! Here is what's new:
- Alliances Added: Ally with others to work together, and combine your powers. Soon, we will add the ability for users to perform various actions together such as alliance raiding, or sending gold to one another.
- Military Spying Fixed: Previously, it would occasionally give an error if you tried to spy on someone. This been fixed now.
- Spying Buttons Added: You can now spy on others using the spying buttons on their user-pages.
- Spying Order Fixed: Previously, the first reports you send would be listed instead of the latest reports sent in the Intelligence Center.
- Farming Higher Levels Fixed: Farms with higher levels would give the same income as a level 1 farm. This has been fixed now.
- Farming Production Fixed: An issue with income production rates on some fruit farms have been fixed.
- Farming Building and Upgrade Times Tweaked: We increased the amount of time it takes to build and upgrade farms. Now most farms take longer to build and upgrade.
- Farming Prices Tweaked: We have lowered the price to upgrade farms, and the prices of farming fruits are now different.
- Practically Unlimited Farm Level Upgrades: Previously, you could not upgrade farms past Level 5. This has now been bumped up to Level 100!
- News Categorized: News now has various categories, and is colour-sorted similar to notifications.
- Marketplace Land Sale Limited: You can now only have 3 lands being sold in the marketplace.
- Farm Upgrades Impact Farm Prices: Upgrading farms will now have a tiny impact on the farm's price.
- News Flooding Prevented: News will only be generated if there isn't a similar news in the public bulletin board already.
- Land Market Flooding Prevented: You can now list up to 3 land sales at a time in the Ottoman Land Market in Istanbul. Previously, there was no limit.
- Army Training Time Decreased: You can now train units quicker.
- Army Training Overhead: Army Training now has overhead of 13% for every 100 units. This means that for every 100 units you have, the price of the troop will increase by 13%.
- Dashboard Added: OttomanTap once had a dashboard.. with new buildings, we decided to remove it in the past. Now, it's back and improved for quick access based on your current buildings!
- Past Journeys/Explorations List: Accessing journeys and explorations are now much easier. We added various popups that display recent explorations (at city pages, and dashboards).
- Journeys Nerfed: Journeys/Explorations were a bit too much coins due to the inflation formula in the reward calculation. We have decreased the amount of gold that they give now, making it fair and square again.
- Various Bugs Fixed: Everything from inconsistencies and internal server errors, we've been fixing countless bugs and errors.
- General Visual Improvements: Certain pages with inconsistent usages of spacing or similar visual annoyances have once again been improved.
- Percentages Fixed: The upgrading farm percentages and training troop percentages were previously starting from a percentage greater than 0% and progressively moving up to 100%. We fixed this now.
Before the game restarts in three days, we plan to imporve alliances, and add:
- Raiding Simulator: Unsure whether to raid someone? The raiding simulator will help you predict the outcome of the raid.
- Battles: You will soon be able to conquer others. If you conquer someone, they will pay you a percentage of their coins every day until they rebel against you. People who are conquered by you will be marked as conquered by your alliance.

Major Balance Change
With many new features and major changes comes many bugs to fix. We fixed various issues with the game. We also made some new changes to farming and daily purchasable land. Here are the detais:
- Balance Change: In order to prevent another hyper-inflation, we decided to act quick and interfere with farming revenue. Daily land purchasing limit has been decreased to 100 to start, and can now be increased by upgrading your Hane.
- Balance Change: Farms now generate 5 times less revenue. For instance, 1 acre of strawberries now gives 0.2 coins per hour rather than 1 coin per hour.
- Fez Daily Land Purchase Limit Changed: Fez can now be used to provide a fixed percentage bonus of your allowed daily land purchases as opposed to an additional X acres that you can buy. This means that a 5% increase bonus which gives you an additional 5 acres for each 100 acres you can purchase. All previous Fez bonus purchases have been converted to the percentage increase bonus. The maximum increase bonus you can have is 25%. We believe these changes make the game fair for everyone and are steps in the direction of balancing Ottoman Tap for its first release.
- Farming Investment Fluctuation Decreased: Fruits and vegetables are now impacted less when users invest land into farms.
- Compensation Balance Tweak: To provide everyone a chance at competing (since some users now have a lot of acres purchased already), we have given all users 14,530 coins. We also made a donation to the Donation Center.
- Intelligence Center Now Operational: You can now build and upgrade the Intelligence Center which allows you to gather various information on other users.
- New Building Levels Added: Various buildings now have new levels that provide unique previlages. For instance, upgrading your barracks speeds up your units, and allows you to train more troops.
- General Visual Improvements: Certain pages with inconsistent usages of heading sizes or similar visual annoyances have been improved.
- Buttons Improved: We made most buttons unclickable if they can't be clicked, and they are darkened and grayed out or directly grayed out. We will continue to improve buttons in the game.
- Public Bulletin Board Improved: Fonts now smaller, 3 columns nicely fit on larger devices. News details have been hidden, and can be accessed by clicking on the titles.
- Menu Hane Buildings Fixed: Buildings were not shown if they were constructed but upgrading in the Game Menu under Hane's dropdown. This is fixed now.
- General Styling Fixes: As a part of our migration to Bootstrap 5, many buttons became invisible. We fixed all of these buttons - if you see any more, please do report it to us!
- Hane Small Devices Fix: Some small screen devices had an issue with elements jumping off their boxes in the Hane page. This has now been fixed.
- Army Training Pages Fixed: There was an issue that didn't let you train cavalry if infantry were training, or vice versa. This has now been fixed.
- Redirects Fixed: Some pages would still redirect to links from the previous game. We fixed most (hopefully all) of these. In case you catch any, please do report it to us.
- Other Fixes: Various other fixes. As pointed out by trooppooper, the Fez Marketplace's land purchase limit text was merged with the max raiding limit.

A Brand New Ottoman Tap
After two weeks of silence, we are bringing you the biggest update in Ottoman Tap history:
- Game Navigation Fundamentally Changed: Rather than pages for "Land" or "Army", the game now has cities, buildings and public spots that allow you to perform actions (such as buying land (via Ottoman Land Market), building farms (via Farm Management Center), viewing the Leaderboard (via Public Bulletin Board), and etc.).
- Cities Introduced: As explained above.
- Public Spots Introduced: As explained above.
- Buildings Introduced: You now have a base with buildable, and upgradable buildings that allow you to perform various actions and get access to building-specific power-ups.
- Game Entirely Redesigned with Bootstrap 5 (upgrading from Bootstrap 3)
- Menu Redesigned: We have redesigned the menu to fit the new building-based navigation. The menu shows a dropdown for your Base, consisting of your built buildings, and a dropdown for each city and its public spots.
- Ottoman Bank Introduced: You can now deposit or withdraw money from the Central Ottoman Bank. Doing so will keep your wealth hidden from the leaderboards in the Public Bulletin Board.
- Errors, Bugs Fixed & Other Improvements: We could list all the minor changes we made individually, but we think this update of OttomanTap can best be experienced rather than explained. We hope you like it!

Major Balance Changes, Bug Fixes, Improvements & New Additions
Before the game resets, we decided to put an end to the ever-lasting hyperinflation that made the rich richer, and the poor poorer. Thanks to suggestions from a couple of our fellow players, we have made certain balance change necessary to stop the hyperinflation that hits a week into the game. While we were at it, we made a couple of additional tweaks before the game resets. No further modifications should be expected to the game until January 31st unless necessary. Game will reset as usual a week after it ends. That being said, here is the list of changes to the game:
- New Public Group Chats: We added public group chats to Ottoman Tap! You can access them through the messages page. You can let us know whether you find any bugs or suggestions from the "Bugs, Errors & Issues" and "Suggestions & Ideas" public group chats. If you are the first to report a bug/error/issue, you will be rewarded 50 Fez!
- Fez Marketplace Improvement: Previously, buttons would be clickable and refresh the page even if you did not afford the Fez quantity to click it. This is fixed now so that buttons are only clickable if you have enough Fez to click the button.
- Fez Marketplace Bug Fixes: Hourly raid limit was not showing the correct count in the Fez Marketplace. This has been fixed now.
- Clickable News: News are now clickable, and have their individual respective page!
- Fez Prices Tweaked: Fez prices are now tweaked, and most power-ups cost less. We hope you like this change!
- Balance Tweak: Previously, you could instantly train troops - like magic. We decided to add some realism by changing this. Now infantry take 10 seconds to train, cavalry take 20 seconds to train, and siege takes 30 seconds to train. We hope this balance tweak will also impact the game in a positive light. Thank you trooppooper for this suggestion! You'll be able to train one group of each unit type at a time (i.e. you cannot train more infantry while some are being trained already).
- Balance Tweak: You can now only purchase 1,000 acres per day. This limit can be increased up to 5,000 in the Fez Marketplace. Thank you matchakietkat for this suggestion!
- New Implementation: Banned words were added to the game. Use of banned words will not be allowed in making new usernames, messaging in public group chats, and so on.
- New Messages Badge: Messages now has its own unique badge (separate from the Notifications). Message notifications have been removed due to this new feature.
- New Donations Feature: Large donations are now covered in the news. You can opt-out of this by checking the "Make sure my donation is anonymous" checkbox before donating.
- Improvement: Donations can now be taken using a slider. The time before you can take another donation has also been tweaked so it shows minutes or hours instead of seconds if there are more than 60 seconds remaining.
- Improvement: "Message by user" segment restyled.

Bug Fixes
There were some major issues with raiding and spy reports that involved over 2 billion troops of any kind. We fixed these issues now:
- Bug Fix: Previously, raids with over 2 billion troops of any kind would only send 2 billion units, but still deduct the total number of troops sent from your army. This is fixed now - you can raid with more than 2 billion troops of any kind, and they return as they are supposed to.
- Bug Fix: Previously, spy reports that reported over 2 billion troops of any kind would only portray 2 billion units. This is fixed now.
- Bug Fix: Spy report recentness was inaccurate. We fixed this now.
- Improvement: Separated colour for adventure notifications from raid reports and spy reports.

Couple of Improvements
Here are a few more improvements to the game:
- Bug Fix: Some pages (only for users playing the game) would give an error if you tried accessing them while not logged in. This has been fixed now.
- Bug Fix: News dates were not showing the accurate date. This is fixed now.
- Improvement: Notifications now show recentness.
- Improvement: Messages now show recentness, are ordered so the most recent ones are highest. To accommodate for this, the send message-box has also been moved above the messages.
- Improvement: Dashboard Improved with more easy navigation buttons.
- Improvement: Large numbers in all notifications are now formatted so they're easier to read.

Couple of Fixes
We noticed some issues with the game that needed fixing, so we got to work. Here are the details:
- Limitation: Usernames must now be at least 3 letters long.
- Bug Fix: Spy Report was not showing the most recent report. We fixed this now, so it shows the most recent one.
- Bug Fix: Notifications page had an issue with the translation, and was acting weird. We fixed this issue now!
- Improvement: Commas Added to Acre count + Coin count of users on their profile pages.

Fixing Little Issues + Couple of Improvements
With new features comes new bugs to fix. We didn't wait on it. While we were at it, we also added a few new things! Here are the details:
- New Feature: Clickable Notifications! Now you can click on notifications to take you to the relevant page of the notification.
- Improvement: Notifications are now colour-sorted! We hope you like this change.
- Improvement: Messages are now colour-sorted so it is easier to differentiate your message from the person you're talking to.
- Improvement: You can now see the past 25 messages in a conversation rather than the past 10 messages.
- Bug Fix: Merging Farms button was unclickable on some devices. This has been fixed now. If you have a device that cannot click the button still, please report it to us.
- Bug Fix: After our military spy reports, user pages ran into some issues. We fixed these now; Happy spying, once again!
- Bug Fix: Merging a farm would make it 100% full, and this is fixed now. Instead, farms are collected from, then merged. After merging, they are 0% full.

Changes for 2022!
Despite our busy schedule this time around, we made time for some big changes in commemoration of Osman Pasha's birthday, and the New Year. Here's what's new:
- New Feature: Military Spies added! Now you can spy on how many troops others have. You can spy once a day for free, and increase your daily spying limit with Fez. Have fun spying!
- New Feature: Merging Farms is now possible! If you've many farms with the same fruit type and level, you can now merge them.
- Improvement: Sliders Introduced! Forget about selecting a number of quantities, or typing the quantity yourself. Slide away to how many troops you want to buy, send on adventures, send to raid, or etc! We hope you like this new change!
- Improvement: Friend Requests Sent & Received added to Profile. Previously, you had to manually navigate to the person who requested to be your friend's profile. Now you can accept their request directly from your profile page, and see any pending friend requests as m-4 card card-body bg-light.
- Improvement: Leaderboards now show numbers larger than a million alphanumerically, so you don't have to count digits.
- Minor Improvement: Commas added to "Upgrade Farm" coin values.
- Minor Improvement: If you don't have enough money to upgrade a certain farm, the button will not be clickable.
- Minor Improvement: "Land For Sale" title removed from the "Land" page if there are no lands for sale.
- Balance Tweak: The amount of donations you can take a day is now doubled.

Back for some bug fixing and announcements!
While university has forced me to abandon adding new features to the game, I had to fix a couple of issues that were pointed out by users:
- "Max Acre of Fruits" Fixed: The auto-calculation for how many acres you could invest was previously not calculating correctly in certain cases. Thank you trooppooper for pointing this out! We fixed this now.
- Coin Multiplier Increase Fixed: Previously, there was an issue with the Coin Multiplier that can be purchased from the Fez Marketplace. This is now fixed.
There are some issues with Adventures that need to be fixed, but we'll have to get to those later. We appreciate your continued support.

Long time, no see...
We've been gone for a while (thanks to midterms in university), but we are back nevertheless! The game has been reset, and here are a few changes we made:
- Starting Acre Cost Increased: From 10 coins per acre to 100 coins per acre.
- More land int the Ottoman Empire: Added 3 zeros to the total number of acres that the Ottoman Empire starts with.
- Adventures Tweaked: Adventures now pay less, we never quite got the balance between earning coins through adventures and farming. We hope this change helps with that!

Farming Balance Changes + New Features!
As the amount of lovely people playing OttomanTap increases, and more land is bought, we noticed the impact of a single person on the entire game was too much. The price fluctuation after investing into a certain fruit was insanely decreasing everyone's income and the price of investing into figs went all the way down to 46 coins per acre (from 675 coins per acre)! This led to some necessary balance changes. We also added and fixed a couple more things while we were at it. Here is what we tweaked:
- Farming Price Flucatuation Impact Decreased: Investing acres into farming will no longer have an insane impact on the market.
- Fruit Prices Adjusted: Since the fruit prices were too low, they've all been bumped back to a reasonable price. This is a one-time change that was necessary due to this balance issue. Have fun farming!
- Armies Hidden: This is a game-changer for raiding. You will no longer be able to see the army of the person you're going out to raid. Soon, we will add spies that can be used to infaltrate military information of users. Stay tuned!
- Adventure Page Improved: Adventure page now shows how many infantry, cavalry and siege you sent out on the adventure. It also shows how much time is remaining before the next adventure update rather than the date the update was started, and the date when the next update is expected.
- Tap Multiplier (NEW): You can now increase the amount of coins a tap gives from the Fez Marketplace!
- Multiple Adventures (NEW): You can now increase the amount of adventures you can embark on simultaneously (up to 5) from the Fez Marketplace!
- More Than 1 Hourly Raid (NEW): You can now increase the amount of hourly raids you are allowed to perform (up to 3) from the Fez Marketplace!
- Land Purchase & Sale News Fixed: The price of increase or decrease in land that gets covered by the news was overinflated. This is fixed now, and it reflects the correct price of fluctuation in the market.
- Land Sale Tweak: Selling land back to the state would only put the price of land up half of what the impact of buying that much land would have (in terms of the opposite impact). This is changed now so that the fluctuation is the same ratio for buying and selling land to the market.
- Readability Improved: Large numbers have been comma-formatted in various parts of the game.

Donations Tweaked, Adventures Buffed & Readability Improvements
- Donations Tweaked: Now you can catch up to the riches from the Donation Center! The formula for donations has been tweaked, allowing you to take much more coins from the Donation Center than before.
- Adventure Time Tweaked: Adventures now take less time to return from, and are based primarily on the distance of your journey.
- Adventure Reward Increased: Adventures now give even more coins!
- Readability Improved: Commas were added in a couple of places to make larger numbers easier to read.

Fruit News Temporarily Stopped & Adventures Tweaked
- Fruit News Interference: The game has been generating duplicate news unfairly influencing the market by a huge margin. For this reason, we've disabled the news for now, and bumped the price of strawberry back to a reasonable amount (as if it were only impacted by 1 or 2 of the 5 news).
- Adventures Tweaked: Farming gives way too much compared to adventures. We decided to buff adventures as a balance tweak. Now adventures take much less time and has a greater reward. We hope you like it! :)

Balance Change & More
We needed to hop in to fix a couple things again:
- Balance Change - Raiding Limited: We noticed that some users took advantage of no raiding limit, constantly attacking. For this reason, we've limited raiding to once per hour.
- Conversation List Bug Fix: After our last conversation list update, there was yet another issue that arose. It's been fixed now. Happy messaging!
- Translation Added Before Login: Translation Widget was only present when the user was logged in. We changed this now to make it appear regardless of whether the user is logged in or not.
- New Game Layout: We centered nearly everything and added a page-specific header to each page. We also changed things around to make things neater in some pages. We hope you like the new layout!

Improvements & Bug Fixes!
We're back to work again... Here are the changes:
- Farming Bug Fix: Max Acres that a user can purchase wasn't showing properly at times. We fixed this.
- Farming Improvement: Your farms are now sorted in order of the same farm type. Thank you matchakietkat for this suggestion.
- Farming Improvement: We now added your total revenue from all farms per hour to the farming page. Happy farming!
- Conversation List Fixed: An issue with the username of the person you're chatting with has been fixed now.
- Donation Improvement: Game now doesn't allow you to input more than you can take (in the past it would let you, but wouldn't process the request).
- Raiding Bug Fix: Refreshing page after sending a raid would resend the raid if enough time passed by for the first raid to end. This has been fixed now.
- Raiding Made Easier: Now you can hit "Raid User" when viewing a user's profile to raid them directly rather than manually inputting their username from the raiding page.
- Add Friend Bug Fix: You can now add friends from the user's profile page. This wasn't working earlier. Thank you Proahmettaha for pointing this out!

Game Is Reset!
Good luck to everyone in Game #2! Here are a few new additions:
- We've also added an archive of past games in Game History. It's Accessible via the Leaderboards Page
- Taps are now limited to 500 taps per day. This is done to prevent an unfair advantage and prioritize strategy. Let us know what you think!
Quick sidenote: One user who registered after the game ended but before it was reset wasn't able to make it to the leaderboards but was rewarded the Iron Throphy and 100 Fez since Leaderboards did not consist of 25 users. Transparency is our primary principle hence the sidenote :)

Super-Sonic Speed Tapping No Longer Possible
We are back for a minor yet crucial tweak. As pointed out by Steel12 and SadrazamEmirhan, there was no limit to how fast you could tap, and this was exploitable. We've tweaked this now, so you can no longer tap at max speeds. We may add more preventatitve measures to keep the game fair and fun for everyone. More changes won't be coming in the near future unless necessary as such. Good luck on the next game!

Game #1 is Over!
It's been a pleasure coding the game until now. I thank my friends that competed with me and motivated progress in the game. As the game says (if you log in), the game is officially over. I congratulate the winners, and thank you all for playing. Moving forward, I plan to improve the game later. Sadly, school demands more time these days, so I won't make many changes in the upcoming month. The game will restart, and I'll be partaking in Game #2 as m-4 card card-body bg-light. I wish everyone good luck in advance. I look forward to all your valuable feedback and hope you enjoy! :)
P.S. With that said, here are the latest closing changes I've added to the game:
- Game Ended Page: When the game is done, it'll forward to the game has ended page.

Notifications Improvement & More!
- Notifications Improvement: Notifications in the "Notifications" Page are now displaying in order of the latest to oldest.
- Notifications Badge Tweak: The badge is now hidden unless you have one or more notifications.
- Donation Improvement: Game now tells you when you can pick up your next donation if you picked it up already in the past 24 hours.
- More Number Formatting: We added more commas to places with larger numbers.
- New Method of Recruiting Army: We now have select instead of text input to purchase troops so you don't need to calculate or type anything; the game does it all for you!

Raiding Added & More!
We've been working hard on implementing the features we mentioned in our previous updates.
- Raiding (NEW): You can now raid others! When you raid someone, if your army overpowers theirs, you'll be able to bring back the fruits they had not collected in their farms. If their army overpowers yours, you'll lose the units you raided with.
- Donation Center (NEW): You can now recieve donations once a day. Any donations you give will be added to the wealth of the Donation Centre for others to recieve.
- Notifications Improved: Notifications are now added to the menu, and the order of notifications listed in the Dashboard is according to the newest ones first.

Fez Marketplace is Finally Here & More!
We've been working hard on implementing the features we mentioned in our previous updates.
- Fez Marketplace (NEW): Now you can trade your Fez for coins at the Fez Markeplace! We hope you do m-4 card card-body bg-light before the Beta ends so that you can earn some Fez for the next game!
- Medals (NEW): Medals have been added to the game. The details on which medals are given to which users are available on the Leaderboards page accessible from the menu.
- News: A couple of additional news have been added to the game.
- News: Few changes in the fluctuations caused by news.

Couple Improvements
- Leaderboards Page Updated: We updated the Leaderboards page with another section that shows the rewards for the top positions when the game ends.
- Land Purchasing Made Easier: The game now calculates how many acres you can invest unlike before where you had to do the math yourself.
- Error Messages Added: We've added some error messages. More will be added soon.

Accessibility & Design Improvements
- Design Improvement: We are changing the section sizes so they're larger on desktop and tablets.
- Accessibility Improvement: We have made it easier to perform actions with your farms without having to go to "Details".
- Couple of Bug Fixes: Some errors were put to rest :)
- A Logo: Nothing amazing, but we now have one!
We plan to work on the template of the game, finalize farming, etc. and we might introduce a new way of being able to raid other players and loot from them. Medals will also be added to showcase on your profile if you earned 1st to 25th place in any games in the past. And lastly, we didn't forget about Fez - we'll be making a page for Fez as m-4 card card-body bg-light. You can expect the changes before this game ends (in 5 days from now). Stay tuned!

Couple Tweaks To The Game
- New News Added: The game now also generates random news that impacts land prices.
- Increase in Farming Prices Changed: Investing land will now impact the price regardless of the fruit/farm you invest into regardless of how large or small your investment is. Only significant enough investments will be covered by the news.
- Minor Bug Fixes: Minor bugs were fixed.
- Couple Readability Improvements: We added commas to a couple more of the larger digits to make it easier to read.

Back at it again!
Hey there folks! It's been a while since we've made changes around here. But we're finally back! :)
- Land Prices Adjusted: Things were getting out of hand as people bought more and more land. We heard you all out, and decreased land price calculation. Have fun investing!! :)
- Farming Balanced: Some fruits/veggies had an outrageous advantage over others. We balanced this out now. Most fruits give similar returns for your investment.
- Farming Update: To compensate for cheaper land, the coins earned from fruits has been lowered.
- Adventures Tweaked: We played around with the math behind adventures. Let us know how you like it.
- New Footer: We added a time left before game resets to the footer so you can prepare yourself accordingly. Remember to sell your land before game ends so you have as many coins as possible to get high up in the leaderboards!
- Bug Fix: Adventures would give error when the army size was too large. Thank you Proahmettaha and unalome for pointing this out. We've fixed this now.

Minor Tweaks
Few minor tweaks have been implemented:
- Bug Fix: "Upgrade to Max Level" was showing if a farm reached Max Level. Thank you unalome for pointing this out. We fixed it now by removing the upgrade button at Max Level.
- Improvement: Added commas to the money count to improve readability as people get richer.

Land Prices Adjusted!
To avoid providing an outrageous unfair starting advantage, we will tweak acres with a base price and more complex mathematical formula to calculate the purchasing and sale price of land. Until we get to this, we've lowered the land price to twice the double of the starting price and we will continue to do this from time to time (without notice) to ensure players don't get any unfair disadvantages. Since this is a Beta release, we're aiming to learn the best way to release the game next month without needing to further tweak for balance changes during the game.

Bugs fixed!
Bugs pointed out by our fellow users have now been fixed. Here's a list of what we changed for the curious:
- Balance Tweak: Adventures have been nerfed (they now take longer, and reward less coins.)
- Bug Fix: Farms had an issue where they would sometimes not have any fruits growing right in some occasions. We've implemented a fix to this.
- Bug Fix: Refreshing a conversation page with another user would re-send the last message. This has been fixed now.
- Error Fix: When inputting 0 acres in the # of acres field for investing into farming, it would give a 500 Internal Server Error. This has been fixed now.
