1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and playing Ottoman Tap ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Game. These Terms apply to all visitors, players, and users of Ottoman Tap.

2. Account Registration

To play Ottoman Tap, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to the following:

  • You must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username and password.
  • Usernames must be 3-20 alphanumeric characters and cannot contain spaces, commas, periods, or special characters.
  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You may not create multiple accounts for the purpose of exploiting or gaining unfair advantages.
  • Usernames that impersonate staff, contain offensive content, or violate these Terms are prohibited.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Game Rules & Conduct

When playing Ottoman Tap, you agree to:

  • Play fairly and not exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics.
  • Not use automation scripts, bots (other than in-game AI bots), macros, or any unauthorized third-party tools.
  • Not harass, threaten, or abuse other players through chat, messages, or any in-game feature.
  • Not share or distribute content that is illegal, offensive, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other players' accounts or game systems.
  • Not use the game for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

4. Virtual Currency & In-Game Property

Ottoman Tap features virtual currencies (Gold and Fez) and in-game property (land, buildings, armies, and resources). You acknowledge that:

  • All in-game currency, items, and property remain the property of Ottoman Tap and have no real-world monetary value.
  • Virtual currency and items cannot be sold, traded, or transferred for real money or other real-world consideration.
  • We reserve the right to adjust, add, or remove in-game content, mechanics, and virtual currency balances at any time.
  • In-game progress may be reset periodically as part of game seasons (leaderboard cycles).

5. Alliances

Alliance features allow cooperative gameplay. When participating in alliances:

  • Alliance leaders and officers are responsible for conduct within their alliance.
  • Alliance names and descriptions must comply with our content rules.
  • We may dissolve alliances that violate these Terms or engage in coordinated abuse.
  • Alliance raid and conquest mechanics are part of normal gameplay and are not considered harassment.

6. AI Bot Interactions

Ottoman Tap features AI-powered bots that participate in the game. You acknowledge that:

  • AI bots are powered by Ollama Cloud. Messages sent to these bots are processed on their servers.
  • You should not share personal or sensitive information with AI bots.
  • AI bot responses are generated automatically and do not represent the views of Ottoman Tap.
  • Interactions with AI bots are subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Chat & Communication

Ottoman Tap provides in-game chat features (general, alliance, and direct messages). When using these features:

  • All messages are stored and may be monitored for abuse prevention.
  • You are responsible for the content of your messages.
  • Do not share personal information, including real names, addresses, or financial details.
  • Spamming, flooding, or abusing chat systems is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access to chat for violations.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in cheating, harassment, or other harmful behavior. Termination may result in:

  • Loss of access to your account and all associated game data.
  • Forfeiture of in-game currency, items, and progress.
  • Permanent or temporary bans at our discretion.

You may request account deletion by contacting us. Upon deletion, all associated data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Game will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from the Game will be accurate or reliable.
  • Any errors in the Game will be corrected.

You play the Game at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ottoman Tap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Game, including but not limited to loss of data, in-game progress, or virtual property.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Game after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
